Connie Frederickson - Director

I have a BS degree in education from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.  My husband Fred and I moved from a farm in Minnesota to Oshkosh where we raised our 3 children.  I taught kindergarten for 16 years at Martin Luther School in Oshkosh.  I was the Assistant Director here for a while and then went to be the director at another child care center in Oshkosh.  I received a call from St. Paul's to be the Early Childhood Ministry Director here.  I consider this position a privilege to help lead God's little lambs to their Savior in Heaven.

Lisa Phillips - Assistant Director and Four-Year-Old Teacher

I grew up in a small town called Wonewoc, about 30 miles west of Wisconsin Dells, where I went to St. Paul’s Lutheran Elementary School and Wonewoc-Center High School, graduating in 2003. I then graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary education.  I taught at Grace Lutheran Elementary School in Oshkosh for 8 years before coming to St. Paul’s in August 2016. I just got married in June 2016 and my husband Justin and I live in Oshkosh with our two cats Turby and R.J.

Stacey Lidtke - Infant Teacher

I have a BS degree in Early Childhood Studies from Northern Illinois University. Since receiving my degree, I have worked as a preschool teacher, director, and infant teacher both in Illinois and Wisconsin. My husband is Pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Oshkosh where we reside with our two children. When time allows, I can be found with my nose in a book, sewing, or doing laundry...but most of the time, I simply enjoy being a mom!

Emily Zeinert - Toddler Teacher

I am Emily Zeinert. I am a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In May 2015 I graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in the Early Childhood Education Program. I also began working at the Child Center at that time. I have worked with little ones for many years helping with Sunday School. In my spare time I love to read.

Brenda Noffke - Two-Year-Old Teacher

I began my employment as the two year old teacher with St. Paul’s Lutheran Child Center in 2008. I reside in the Town of Poygan with my husband and two children. I began building a rich experience in child development in high school through a Child Care Co-op Program. My passion to guide children led me to take credit courses to obtain my Lead Teacher Certification, Preschool Credential and My Infant and Toddler Certification. I completed my Wisconsin Administrator’s Credential and have experience as a Preschool Teacher and as a Center Program Coordinator. During my time away from the childcare center I take great pleasure in going camping and exploring state parks. I also enjoy reading books to learn about a variety of cultures and family customs.
Ashley Haese - Three-Year-Old Teacher

My name is Ashley Haese and I have been with St. Paul’s since November 2013. Before coming to St. Pauls’ I spent about eight years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have always had a passion for helping others.  I decided to make the switch to childcare, because since I was a little I always want to be a teacher like I had growing up, a teacher that helps little ones enjoy their childhood, explore, and discover new things.

I’m from New London, WI, where I grew up in a large family. I’m the third oldest of six children. I now reside in Oshkosh with my husband Jamie, Trigger our Germen Shepard, and my sister Autumn, who is  living with us while she attends school. Something I enjoy doing are cooking, baking, boating, camping, taking Trigger for runs, spending as much time as I can with my nieces and nephew, and the list goes on. As for my education I attended UW –Stevens Point, where I took courses in early childhood. I’m ready and excited to face more adventures as the teacher in the 3 year old room. I look forward to working with your child. I promise to work hard to ensure your child gets the quality of care/education that he/she deserves.
Cheri Otto - School Age Teacher

Hello! My name is Cheri Otto and I am the Lead School Age teacher.  I grew up in Winchester, and graduated from Winneconne High School.  I attended Marian University in Fond du Lac where I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. I later transferred to Carroll University in Waukesha. While attending school there, I obtained a job in a Child Care center.  I now have 25+ years working in the Early Childhood field.  During that time I have worked for both corporate and privately owned child care facilities, working with all ages of children between the ages of 6 weeks- 12 years old, with most of my experience working with 4 Yr. Olds and School-Agers.  In June of 2000, a friend and I purchased our own group child care center in Pewaukee, WI where we were licensed to care for 75 children. We closed our center in September 2015, and I decided to return to the area to be closer to my family, who all live here.  It was then that I was given the opportunity to work here at St. Paul’s Child Center.
When I am not working at St. Paul’s, I spend my time working some weekends at The Learning Shop in Appleton.  In the winter months I also judge High School Forensics for Oshkosh North High School.
I have one sister, Julie; my brother-in-law, Ryan; and a niece and nephew, Alyssa and Logan, who also attend Winneconne High School. My Dad, aunts, and cousins also all live in the Neenah/Menasha area.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, scrapbooking, and watching movies, and watching my nephew play soccer for Winneconne High School, as well as the YMCA or other soccer clubs.
I am very happy to be a part of St. Paul’s Child Center. When the School-agers are in school, you can find me working in the 3 and 4 year old classrooms as needed.
